Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for a number of years. The actor is best famous for his roles played in "Law and the Special Victims Unit". His passion for acting started during his college years. He was a student of acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active in both films and television, but it was his character on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much fans. He's been able effortlessly play roles of characters who are from both sides of law and grab the audience's focus. He played the part of a serial killer in his debut television show however he later chose to take on the role as an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on the small screen, he's won several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. One of his most distinctive facial traits is believed to have been the piercing blue eyes that have helped him portray characters who have a rough, charismatic look. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
